How the heating works
Four carbon-film panels are laminated into the lining. 12 × 25cm across the front, 9 × 16cm across the back. Three settings: 95°F to sit in all evening, 113°F for a cold room, 131°F to warm up fast. The controller sits in the pocket seam.

It runs nearly hem to hem and sits directly over the front heating panel. Deep enough for both hands, a book and the remote. and, in most houses, whichever animal decides that spot is theirs now.

USB-A, 5V. It needs a power bank and doesn't include one; any phone bank you already own will run it. A 10,000mAh bank gives roughly eight hours on the low setting.

Carbon-film panels are laminated into the lining rather than sewn on top, so nothing presses into your back. They draw 5V over USB-A, reach temperature in about ninety seconds and hold it at the setting you choose.
A heated throw does the same job, as long as you never plan to stand up.
